Why Are Mushrooms Trending?

Mushrooms have been eaten for centuries.

I am talking about since ancient Greek era (Valverde, Hernández-Pérez, Paredes-López, 2015). Since the time of our Lord and Saviour Yeshua. That far back.

As you may be familiar, a lot of the food we eat right now can kill you. Just kidding. No, it actually can. Am talking about commercial food, prepared by hands that want your wallet at the cost of your health. You can read about all this through a quick Google search.

Now here comes mushrooms. They are cholesterol-free. Just imagine. How many food nutrients can you list off the top of your head as being cholesterol-free? Just try. Few, right?

SELENIUM

So mushroom contains a mineral known as selenium. What are minerals?

Good question. Minerals are those nutrients in food and nutrition that help our bodies function properly.

Selenium is needed in minor quantities for your body to function properly. It is a trace mineral.

Selenium has a relationship with thyroid hormones. It assists with their reproduction, functioning, so much so, that this plays a role in your heart health. It is not a joke. Sick thyroid glands masquerade as a heart problem (Harvard Health Publishing, 2023).

Conclusion

Eat mushrooms.

And hydrate.
